James H. Fetterman
Costume Design and Creation
James H. Fetterman of Oakland Park, FL is a retired Episcopal Priest and now serves as a Retired Associate Clergy at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, Pompano Beach, FL.
Jim earned a BA degree in English from Bloomsburg University ('79) where he was very active with the theater department. He was a member of the honorary fraternities, Alpha Psi Omega (Theater Arts) and Sigma Tau Delta (English). He was named in Who's Who in America Universities and Colleges 78-79.
He also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Seminary and was ordained priest in 1981. He has served parishes in Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and New York. He was also a hospice chaplain.
In addition to having roles in Tammy Tell me True, Abie's Irish Rose, Show Boat, Brigadoon, Oklahoma, and The King and I, he also constructed costumes for those shows. He most recently appeared as Firmin in Phantom with the Romanza Lyric Opera Company (2016). In the past, Jim also directed and produced community theater productions of Arsenic and Old Lace, Everyman, Between Two Thieves, and other liturgical short plays.
Jim loves traveling, gardening, swimming, painting, needlepointing, cooking and the theatre arts.
